Michael V. Puppio, Jr. is a partner in the firm. His practice is one of a general nature with concentrations in municipal law, education law, municipal finance, litigation (both Plaintiff and Defense) and criminal defense. Mr. Puppio is the Solicitor for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, Garnet Valley School District, Radnor Township School District, Penn Delco School District, the Borough of Glenolden, and the Zoning hearing Board of Collingdale Borough and Ridley Park Borough. In addition to representing public entities, Mr. Puppio represents many small and medium sized businesses. Previously, Mr. Puppio served as Solicitor for the Delaware County Board of Assessment and the Office of Employment and Training. Mr. Puppio is actively involved in his community. He is a former Springfield Township Commissioner and Delaware County Councilman. Mr. Puppio is the Chairman of the Springfield Republican Party and also a member of the Independence Blue Cross and Blue Shield Board of Directors.
Born and raised in Springfield, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Mr. Puppio graduated from Archmere Academy in 1984. He went to college and law school in Carlisle, Pennsylvania at Dickinson College and then the Dickinson School of Law. After graduation in 1991, Mr. Puppio returned home to Delaware County and began the practice of law with a clerkship for the late Anthony R. Semeraro in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County. Mr. Puppio followed up that clerkship with employment at the Law Firm of Caine, DiPasqua, Sloane, and Raffaele.
Mr. Puppio is married to the former Andrea Belefonte and they have two children, Matthew and Sarah. They currently reside in Springfield, Pennsylvania. |
