Gabrielle Sereni  
 
Gabrielle is a Partner and Chair of the firm’s Special Education Department, representing school districts in special education matters. She brings extensive experience to the firm. She holds degrees from Villanova Law School (J.D., 1999), the University of Pennsylvania (M.S.Ed.,1993) and St. Joseph's University (B.A., 1992).

A former teacher in the Delaware County public school system, Gabrielle enjoyed a federal clerkship after law school with the Honorable Robert F. Kelly, Senior United States District Court Judge. In addition to clerking for the Honorable Frank T. Hazel of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas and the Honorable President Judge Emeritus Stephen P. McEwen of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, Gabrielle also served an extensive internship with the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.

Gabrielle has since devoted her legal career to the practice of special education law. She served public school districts, intermediate units, and charter schools for five years with Wisler, Pearlstine in Montgomery County, PA, and also served families on the federal court level for another five years as a Senior Shareholder with McAndrews Law Offices, Berwyn, PA, leading to several precedential decisions from the Third Circuit Court of Appeals which she briefed and argued. She has also prepared memoranda presented to the United States Supreme Court. In her years of practicing special education law, Gabrielle has handled hundreds of matters at all stages of litigation.

Gabrielle is a frequent lecturer and sought-out authority across Pennsylvania on special education issues, and also volunteers her time as Legal Advisor to the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education. She was named to the "Rising Stars" list compiled by Philadelphia Magazine and Law and Politics Magazine in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010, representing the top 2.5% of Pennsylvania lawyers under 40, or with less than ten years experience. She is the proud mother of three small boys.
